@drewb2901 I agree. It's an irrational fear of a well used mitigation tool over juvenile level, petty, and poorly thought out reasons to avoid taking the vaccine. I now know it's not about the science. It's just a total rejection to science and people of authority that are more intelligent. They don't want to be told what to do. I say juvenile because they are saying "I want the freedom to choose but not to have any consequences for that choice". My toddler used to do that

@Jeremy_the_bot zero limits. Also zero actual understanding of the ramifications of what they're saying. They don't think past their angry emotions that get the better of them

@BatmanLampin THATS a bad faith argument because we are not talking about kids necessarily dying. We are talking about their teachers possibly dying or their family when they bring it home.

@TheVaspar the measles and small pox vaccines did NOT stop you from getting the virus. It did however, like the covid vaccines, give your body a blueprint to t cells to begin fighting immediately before getting really sick.

@BatmanLampin absolutely it has a leg to stand on because 30% of all the household aren't vaccinated. That in turn overwhelms our hospitals and leads to canceled surgeries.
