@Ken Reimer do you have any idea how few people the mandate affected? The drivers affected couldn't cross the border, not that they couldn't work. They could have done local runs, and in Canada, that's basically long haul anyway. They cost Canada 3 billion at the bridge in Windsor alone. Who are they to hold the country hostage? F them

@annimomma5 Well, we have had a draft before, right? That most certainly was a bigger infringement on rights, in my opinion. The men who went to fight were considered heros for their selfless actions. You would call them traitors apparently for complying.

@William Lafond actually phizer is developing a vaccine against all Corona viruses I read. It is supposed to cover any sub variants, too. Who knows? I hope they do because you are right; it mutates like hell.

@Lorraine Morrall there was no change in mandates for them. The border was closed for how long? When it was opened there was a vaccination required. That was it. They whined because they didn't want the vaccine.

@Dwight Ropp in Ottawa the emergency act was needed to legally coordinate so many different police from different jurisdictions. It didn't have to do with tow trucks
