@sumduma55 I don't understand how you think it would keep the poor poor? I do have a reservation or two but not about the idea itself per say. You guys are always talking about the elites. Well these are them that he wants to see pay their fair share. When Switzerland hold the same amount of cash as much larger countries there is a problem. He is trying to end capitol.flight from the US. This is a problem we need to deal with because our currency won't be standing for long. There are a small amount of people who own half of this country. That is not reasonable for any fair and free country. You say we are being enslaved and you're right. So let him try to make sure they can't.

@sumduma55 we need jobs at what cost? To crumbling infrastructure and half the population one paycheck away from homelessness. You don't see THAT as enslavement? You guys always say the politicians are bought and paid for yet you don't want to go after the same people you rail against. Who in your world are "the elete"? Politicians or the centabillionaires that pay them? The only way we can stop THEM is with taxation. Only legal way anyways.

@johnthompson3664 that's the problem. They do t pay much in corporate tax.let alone any of the capitol gains on money held overseas. They have good reason to want a blanket tax. All countries would benefit
