  29. The world produces just enough oil as it consumes due to storage limitations. Taking Russian oil off the market creates huge demand on the remaining oil being mined. Russian oil would be on the market if they had not invaded Ukraine. This isn't hard to understand

  30. @Eric A  yes and no. Yes we were the biggest producer of oil but we got that distinction under Obama. We have been ever since. Let me repeat that. We are STILL the world's biggest supplier of oil. We still make 18 million barrels a day. We consume about 21 million barrels a day. That's why we import oil. We always have.

  31. @Eric A  no, because the bills Biden passed were paid for. That means the money is allocated from existing spending or new taxation. The 8 trill trump put on the debt in only 4 years was completely unpaid and just new debt. That's the reason we are seeing nflatuon. Remember inflation is reactionary to market forces. We add more debt, the cost of borrowing goes up, that in turn has negative affects on imports which can lead to high inflation. Also, China has been shut down. They haven't been working at full capacity so there is higher demand o the goods they are producing, farther driving up costs. I don't understand why you don't realize shutting the world down wouldn't have consequences. Hell, china's housing sector is about to implode.
