  3.  @danielkrause1357  absolutely zero police forces have defunded. Zero. They are all still working on the budget for 2021 that was laid out in 2020. If a department decides to actually do it they won't until budget year 2022.

  15.  @williambruce523  the idea is that most of the policing calls in America come because of people having a mental health emergency or a drug addict is doing illegal things to score money for drugs. What is proposed is to take some funding from police and set up mental health and drug rehab clinics to reduce the overall need for police. If we can help these people then they won't be doing things the police need to be called out for and they can turn back into a contributing member of society.
