The odd part is that now that the Bible has been refined and changed over the centuries these people believe the book that is put in front of them; like you pointed out, without ever knowing the actual foundational stories where the Bible gets its fiction from. I wonder if it's changed again if they would just forget what they were taught and believe that or go with the book they grew up with.
