  12. I agree but mostly because no country could afford another cold war like that. China is trying but have internal issues that won't allow it. Russia has a smaller GDP than Canada. They won't be a le to keep pace with us anymore, as seen with their military hardware they use.

  14.  @ogierthedane6025  those provinces, like Crimea, were heavily bombarded with Russian nationals during the USSR. Crimean tators were exiled to Siberia en mass. Regardless of their populations current desires the land is Ukrainian according to treaties signed by Russia. Even though Russia has broken nearly every treaty they have signed with Ukraine. Russia does not just get to take chunks of other countries at will. Because of that we have this impass.
