No, we defeated the right enemy but we allowed them to still be the southerners they always were. Here they are destroying the country again. Might have to once more put them in their place.

@pureblood968 what record? What record got her that Florida bench. What record, in just under three years, gets you a Supreme court seat. Including Jackson, Barrett is the least qualified on the Supreme court

@mplp1959 on every topic, I made more than one point or at the least posed a question so your last sentence to me is incorrect. Perhaps reply to the context of my posts like her only being a lawyer before getting a federal bench. Why didn't she start in a lower court like most others? Then only three years later to get a Supreme court nomination? That's unheard of.

@burnedagain6187 While the New York City Bar Association finds that Judge Amy Coney Barrett meets several of its evaluation criteria, due to “unique concerns” the City Bar has found Judge Barrett to be “qualified to serve as a Supreme Court Justice, with reservations.” The City Bar finds Judge Barrett to be “an extremely talented lawyer and judicial writer” who “unquestionably” meets the first three of the City Bar’s evaluation criteria: (1) exceptional legal ability; (2) extensive experience and knowledge of the law; and (3) outstanding intellectual and analytical talents. However, “we have significant concerns over the remaining evaluative criteria,” the City Bar states in its report on Judge Barrett. Those criteria are (4) maturity of judgment; (5) unquestionable integrity and independence; (6) a temperament reflecting a willingness to search for a fair resolution of each case before the court; (7) a sympathetic understanding of the Court’s role under the Constitution in the protection of the personal rights of individuals; and (8) an appreciation for the historic role of the Supreme Court as the final arbiter of the meaning of the United States Constitution, including a sensitivity to the respective powers and reciprocal responsibilities of the Congress and Executive.

@burnedagain6187 not a single Democrat voted for Barrett to the Supreme court from. The senate. None. That's because to get gorsich in, and stack federal benches, McConnell decided to end the fillibuster for federal and Supreme court picks. Now, because of that,the legal system has been corrupted and the right stacked the court with people who don't care what half the country thinks on issues. Or that's what it's starting to look like anyways. Before gorsich you needed 60 votes to confirm a Supreme court pick. There was compromise. McConnell ended that. Look it up
