  3.  @tomwilson1006  Where I used to live there was a volunteer fire department, so when the call went out for a fire the volunteer firefighters had to leave their regular jobs, go to the station, get dressed and get the truck ready and then drive to whatever rural area the fire was at. That could be what happened here for all anyone knows.
