@STCatchMeTRACjRo Sure let’s just forget the fact that there’s sentencing guidelines that judges are required BY LAW to follow and start violating everyone’s civil rights by keeping them locked up for longer than the law allows because of crimes they might commit later. That’s not how it works, she should’ve been civilly committed but she wasn’t because she was given meds and taking them like she was supposed to. ANYONE can commit a crime but they can’t keep everyone in the world locked up just because they might.

@daddyrabbit835 She got life in prison. She doesn’t qualify for the death penalty because of her mental illness and even if she dead a hate crime is not a death penalty qualifier so as I said, it wouldn’t change a thing.

@rtru9801 How do you know it’s not perfectly fine? Doctors said it’s doing miraculously well and it was doing good enough to be in the courtroom so it’s obviously not hospitalized.

I’ve heard this case on a podcast, it was very interesting seeing the body cam footage and interviews. What a heartbreaking story 😢 another excellent job done by EWU.

When I heard those screams of anguish and despair from her son I lost it. I completely agree that she needs to be held responsible for her actions but hopefully that happens in a state institution because it’s clear that this woman has some serious mental health issues and needs to be somewhere where she can be medicated and get treatment while serving her time so that something like this doesn’t happen again when she gets out. I’m so glad that the baby survived and is doing better now and I just hope that she continues to thrive and doesn’t have any lasting medical issues because of this 😢

This kid is an absolute MONSTER 👿 He didn’t have one shred of remorse for anything he did and had the audacity to blame his victim for not locking her door 😱 he couldn’t even spare a bare minimum of remorse for anyone but himself because he “ruined his life” not even caring about the other lives he ruined 😢. I can only hope that there’s no way that a parole board would release him, at least not until he’s a very old man.

@cupidok2768 The kids were immediately removed from their custody that day and placed in foster homes so the parents didn’t have a chance to retaliate, especially since they’re all in prison now.

@MelDamgaard Well her being SA by her dad and the fact that she’s an addict does explain why she was having seggs with a much older man actually but that’s not what she was sentenced to prison for, she was sentenced because she lied about and helped cover up a crime and I think people are losing sight of that in their rush to feel sorry for her because of what happened to her. I do feel bad that she was abused but that doesn’t absolve her from guilt of a crime. As I said to someone else, if she hadn’t been abused people would be talking about how broken our system is because she only got 9 years instead of 20

@MelDamgaard Yeah, I didn’t mean that I thought you believed she was unfairly sentenced or anything, I just mentioned it because of all of the other people saying she didn’t deserve to be sentenced at all because of the SA, I guess I just worded it wrong.

Shannan wasn’t his victim but she is the reason his other victims were discovered. So sad the tragedy this family has been through 😢

He wasn’t posting the videos online or anything so nobody saw them, they were a video diary he made that he left inside his house when he set it on fire, they were only found because the house didn’t explode like he thought it would.
