@_ksm0922 They could’ve recorded a short video and then let him go, but they provoked and taunted him. That evidence isn’t going to do much good when you’re dead, he could’ve just as easily ended them all and took the “evidence” with him.

@marktwainathan It took them that long because they lived in a rural area, not because they were sitting around twiddling their thumbs.

If you actually google the case you’ll find out that it took 18 minutes to get there because they lived in a rural area and it also explains the motive and sentencing.

This is the strangest “home invasion” I’ve ever seen 😱 Why didn’t anyone take this kid seriously? I understand wanting him to get caught but losing your life is not worth trying to force him into staying. You can see how desperate he got when he found out she’d called 911. This is just a senseless tragedy 😢 There’s a pretty good article in the White Mountain Independent online that explains more about the sentencing and the motive for the break in.

@bambinaforever1402 I honestly think that they just weren’t taking him seriously because he looked and sounded so young ( which ended up being true) and because they had a weapon that they thought would terrify him.

@nadinekeating3255 Yes he is, he’s not eligible for “good time” based on his plea deal. All of this info is pretty easy to find online.

@nadinekeating3255 That’s not the only thing, there were tons of mitigating circumstances and that’s why he was offered a plea deal. It was pretty easy to find info about the case online.

@nadinekeating3255 Yes he is, he has to serve a minimum of 9 years and isn’t eligible for the normal 15 percent good time based on his plea agreement.
