  6.  @FakeMaker  i can use both, and both are valuable for different tasks. Trying to find 406 millimeters is alot harder on the eyes than just looking for 16 inches.

  9.  @kachow5830  we use the metric system when measuring chemicals for treatment. Also when baking cookies and breads. A pinch of salt is still a pinch of salt, though.

  11.  @ironcito1101  Okay. I use both systems depending on what I'm doing. My tape measure works both in feet and in meters. You only pick one? I say both have advantages and disadvantages. You say one is superior to the other, describing in detail how it isn't flawed, but the other isn't hardly worth learning... I wouldn't want you to teach children math.. Kind of closed minded...

  12.  @board_runner  I make beekeeping equipment. Sometimes the width of a pencil line can put an entire pallet out of alignment. The tolerances are very low for error. Some on the metric system never bother to learn the old Egyptian system. I prefer knowing both systems to exploit advantages depending on the materials I'm working with is all I'm saying. It's kind of outlandish to imply the insects can process complex theories like a human construct. Funny.
