@mitchcumstein9808 I'm a right-leaning libertarian type. I agree wholeheartedly. If they can accept the socialist-like social safety nets as they already do as good, then where that money COMES FROM (capitalism) should also be good. The free college as a "human right" thing is really cringy and completely untrue. I believe lawncare is a basic human right. That's a service. I believe autocare is a basic human right. That's also a service. At the end of the day, I take care of my lawn and car. If my grass swallows up the car on blocks, that's not my neighbors fault or responsibility. Also, it's not his business to call the police and FORCE me to cut my grass, etc. Some folks have no dog in the race. The easy way out is to buck the system. It's too late for Bernie supporters. Trump supporters already got their collective foots in the door on that one. It just sucks that they think we're Nazis and Russians. Its bizarre because the last time I checked? Communism AND Nazism both failed. Why would anyone want to join them?

@zyrrhos Bernie is the weakest candidate ever. In human history. Bernie offering up everyone's tax dollars to children that never had a job? Low hanging fruit, bruh.

@katra777 I'm being as ridiculous as any other asshat that wants goods and services for "free". College isn't a human right. Niether is Starbucks.

@zyrrhos Go fuck yourself. How bou dat?

@katra777 unlike "progressive" bigots, I like to hear all sides before I make a decision. I take all of it in, and THEN decide. You guys decide, then argue why. The only "threat" to ANY democracy is that people that lose throw a temper tantrum. That's the threat. The voters have indeed spoken. Flailing around in the grocery aisle because you cant have a candy bar? The visuals alone are entertaining, but at the same time reflective of a generation of people completely unprepared for the real world. Public schools are fucking up kids minds. Confusing the fuck out of them. Electing a king and queen for prom? That's how they think elections are held. Then they turn 18 and all the fairy tales of "you can be whatever you want. Even president, as long as you get a college education." Maury says that's also a lie.

@zyrrhos "socialism" any way you slice it is the transition period between capitalism and communism. That ASSUMES capitalism has failed. You so-called "progressives" are trying like hell to make that happen. Try an experiment with a roomful of progressives. I'm sure you know a few. Take ten people and put them in a room. Give them all equal amounts of money. Chances are after a couple of hours that one person will have more money than everyone else. Anyone with a skill or talent will take that money from those that don't. Its human nature. You guys are doing the same thing, but by threat of violence. That's what laws are. You want to make it "legal" to take personal property and make it STATE property. With the threat of jail(or worse) if they don't comply. Totalitarianism. That's the end game. I didn't go to college. Even my uneducated ass knows this. Bernie is right. No woman can beat Trump. But to be fair to Bernie, no man can beat him either.

@zyrrhos they're all capitalist countries. How about China? They feed themselves on capitalism. It's so evil... If it weren't for the free market, they couldn't sell a single apple.
2
@zyrrhos okay. Let's say socialism seeds and takes root in America. The first item on the docket is to throw a monkey wrench into the engine that feeds 100 million people. Then, when everyone's starving to death and gets diseased, the hospitals and food banks will both fill up and empty out, respectively. That's the kind of despair we're looking at. You idiots think the poor are poor now? Wait'll half the middle-class joins them at the soup kitchen.

@gjmottet very thoughtful reply. The lawncare and autocare thing are jokes. Everyone has a responsibility to THEMSELVES for healthcare. Not everyone has a right to a doctor, though. "Access" to healthcare? Look in the mirror. Heres the thing. Some people could give a shit about the hospitals, food banks and all the good stuff we got going on. All they see is a world that isn't working for them. So they want to level the playing field instead of making an effort to actually bring IN more tax dollars. They just want to spend what they didn't chip in on. Like the guy at the party that insists on pouring everyone's beer because they're doing it wrong. G.T.F.O.H.

@zyrrhos healthcare is an individual choice. I smoke cigarettes. Why should YOU pay for my chemo? Ohhhh. That's not covered. I eat fatty foods. I'm not obese or morbidly obese, though. The people that make bad [health] decisions shouldn't be taxing people that don't. Most obese people use the safety nets already, so...

@chrisshergie1030 I think tuition is too high. If we(the people) DEMAND our politicians let the school faculty live like communists(@$15.00/hr) THEN college will be affordable, and the field will be full of more eager students with less stress and more mental freedom. Tenured professors making $100,000 are the ones preaching inequality. Meanwhile, the students do all the research. If there IS a finding, the professor takes all the credit. If tuition is slashed, and lavish buildings are eligible for taxes? Watch how fast shit gets done. Theres no reason on Gods green earth why we need so many social workers. I think we're coming to a point where half the population are psychologists. A percentage of them are friggin nuts. That's a clinical term.

No Name what I'm saying is that if the left populist fringe would give up the argument that capitalism kills people, and the fringe right (that hates Hillary, too but embraces capitalism, not corporatism) could meet halfway and not be so rigid, the Mitch McConnells and Joe Bidens would shit their pants. They kind of are, because they know the clock is ticking on their kind. The question is who's going to grab the torch after 2020. We will see. Pelosi might be done along with Mad Maxine. All their voters are home from work now. Talking. About them. Or they moved. Because of them. If California flips red(it's happened before), it's their own fault. Unfortunately, the progressives only represent about 10% of their voters. Noisy sumbitches, but not very numerous.

@katra777 I've been watching Jimmy since he spit in Alex Jones' face and said "That's how comedians greet each other." I'm waiting for him to spit on Ron's unfunny ass.

@savstradamus3996 Tracheostomy is covered by the insurance I already have. You fuckers want gender replacement and follow-up treatments paid for. Grandma needs a new hip? Sorry. There's a rap artists that needs butt cheek implants in line before her... Healthcare is already free. Yall want free medical. At current prices. THAT'S not gonna happen.

@layinlow77 the "rest of the developed world" isn't where people come as a "beacon of hope". Most of the world still wants to come here. I dont see many people trying to leave. "Many other developed countries" could also jump off a bridge. This little socialist experiment you and your 20 friends wanna try out on 300+million people. Has it ever been tried with a heavily fortified military, and led by people that can't figure outwhich bathroom they should use?
1
@savstradamus3996 colleges are already subsidized to a point where the athletics programs are the budgets of small cities. No taxes paid. No property taxes, no income taxes, and grants coming out of our ears. You think its gonna be CHEAPER writing them a blank check? Hell no. I say we regulate the shit out of colleges, and audit them. Those State and Ivy League colleges use the same books everyone else has access to. Level out the learning field. There is no reason that a regular person going to a community college at the head of their class gets passed up by a "C" student from Duke. I do agree theres a problem here, and a noticable one. If people could manage a $25,000 education, they wouldn't have to charge $8 for an aspirin. They couldn't. It would be price gouging. That's up to us to change the laws. Just handing a Harvard dean a blank check? Maybe that's why colleges professors push socialism. They're the ones that are going to inherit the keys to the treasury...
1
@JustAPawnFolks the price needs to come down. Make it more affordable? People will come. The banks won't make as much, but... Fuggem.

Cenk. Cenk is what's wrong with Bernies campaign. There. I said it.

The "whistleblower" was a conservative. Does that change anything?
1
@jumpingjack8273 Yeah. He worked with Congress to raise minimum wage. Twice. What's your point?
1
@jumpingjack8273 in Reagan's tenure, those things were necessary because of coming out of Carters failed presidency. We ended up with Bush. That was my Commander in Cheif. Hindsight is 20/20. I was a Democrat when Reagan was in office. The "Great Communicator" can't be compared to Trump. The 80s cant be compared to today. Be honest.
