@othiq1077 It's a regulated food assistance program specifically for infants and toddlers. How many grapes do you think a 4 year old can eat before they spoil? I get your point, but at the same time, fruits and veggies are perishable. Not to be cynical, but anyone on WIC made poor life choices at some point, and the Taxpayers are expected to pay. Yes. Including your friend. Not only that, but you had to give her a ride. She's involved YOU into her dysfunction.

@othiq1077 I'll say it only one more time. $10 in fresh fruit rots before a small child will eat it. Especially if you're feeding them processed garbage. Which is the cheap food. I've been feeding myself since 16 years old. I know what it costs to feed myself, and it ain't 3 or 400 dollars PLUS WIC. My point is, is that ten bucks could be $15, but we're talking about pre-schoolers. With a food stamp backer, a regular person can easily fill in the blanks WIC doesn't allow for. You want MORE free food. There's food pantries in every municipality. Your outrage is falling on deaf ears.
