  1. Her voters aren't exactly "progressives". They're business owners and taxpayers. A presidential campaign is hugely different than congressional races. Let's hope she stays in congress. It could be worse... She COULD have joined Trump. That would be a disaster.

  6. @Nettie Pearl Those are called flyover states. When a politician knows they have the primaries, they hardly bother. That's why LOCAL elections are so important. The conservatives and conservative democrats are way ahead of progressives when it comes to the primaries. It's not a secret that repubs can switch parties and vote Dem in the primaries. Nobody is challenging Trump. Trump supporters are your elephant in the China shop. Literally.

  7. To "beat" Trump. We all know that's not going to happen either way. They know, too. Even a tanked stock market won't stop that. They're panicking. They don't know what to do, and time is running out. Democrats are the reverse of Midas. Everything they touch turns to shit. And YOU GUYS have to eat it. I left the left in 97.
