  1. Proud people on the same team or whatever will offer words of encouragement, not doom and despair. It's hard to be a proud people if you're legit scared of invisible things.

The[white] left picks up and takes pity for the blacks as a virtue to themselves and for the affirmation of superior moral compass from their friends, colleagues, family and strangers on the corner to support the most pitiful of us. So they don't feel badly drinking a $7 cup of latté, pretty much. "We've got to DO something, or we'll be seen as racist." So they take pity. As a black human with a functioning brain sees this, one of two things happens. They either get pissed off and become conservatives(in the U.S.), or they take the free lunch. Low expectations will typically result in low standards and outcomes.
