Because. Obama gave her false hope. Now it's time to go. You dont have to go home, but you cant stay here... She had a good run. Sell the house and build two when you get home.

On second thought, she should be allowed to stay under the condition that her children go home and tell liberians the orange man is holding her hostage...

Been here since the Clinton administration? Figures...

Liberia needs them at home. They came here, got educated and fed good food. "TEMPORARY" does not mean permanent. They dont want to go home? That's fine. Start changing policy because their shithole awaits them? Dude. "Seperating families"? They VOLUNTARILY separated themselves from their family as soon as they stepped into that airplane.

What does this jibberish even mean? This is word salad.

Will someone please tell this woman that MN was her TEMPORARY residence while she recieved an education and is now a professional that can HELP liberians become less of a shit-hole? It's called a sacrifice. Mostly on the taxpayer dime, I might add...

@mrgreavesey9812 she signed a contract with the American people, now she wants to breach that contract because she has a good life. A life that the American people provided. Now she has a chance to better enrich her native country. The Liberian people deserve to be abandoned? Your thinking is backwards. As nice and noble as you are trying to be, she signed a contract. The contract expired. Time to go.

@whitefire351 she's not a citizen of America. Shes a citizen of Liberia here on a temporary visa. Imagine that. People from the ivory coast WANT to be here? To think... 200 years ago we were buying them... That was pretty stupid, huh?

@mrgreavesey9812 as a matter of fact, I have seen that documentary. About a year ago, yeah? It isnt our fault they live in squalor like that. That minister guy was trying to help. The one that fights naked, yeah? Good stuff. It should be a crime to let them in if it's a crime to make them leave. They came over here either by boat, plane or on foot. That's how they should go home. We housed, fed, clothed and educated them. Now it's about time they go back and have good stories to tell. That's how we are supposed to teach other countries about democracy. It works. Your way, we take them in and keep them? How are people supposed to know what a great place this is if they arent allowed to leave? Your thinking is backwards(no offense) homie.

@mrgreavesey9812 if you seen the documentary on the violence there, then you know in your heart the very thing they need there(nurses and triage personnel) you're willing to deny them because of this woman is crying in her posh job in Minnesota? Dude. Every minute she drags her feet and threatens to go to Canada another Liberian possibly dies because she isn't there. You (and those like you) are making it only worse. Your bleeding heart is literally denying someones bleeding child. Let that sink in.

KELLI2L2 it does seem a bit incomplete, huh? Vice is selling a narrative that Trump is racist, and only he can save this woman from a contract that she signed 20 years ago. Trump doesnt breach a contract that has been abided by on both ends. Her contract was to be educated and housed duty free for 5 years, and pay taxes after that. She was 30 when she got here, had 2 kids(wheres the hisband) and now she has to choose. Stay and break the law and never return after deportation, or leave and file for immigrant status and wait like everyone else. She wants to skip all that and just stay with full amnesty and citizenship. That's not how it works. There are people behind her trying to get in for their education, and cant because shes holding up the process and agencies responsible for that. Somewhere theres a hopeful applicant that cant get in because shes being selfish.

@GY-hd4br I wouldnt go that far, but what is her brother, cousins, mother and former friends gonna think when they see this? Her country NEEDS trained nurses and medical personnel. Shes doing her family a bad by selfishly staying here. Furthermore, Vice ought be ashamed for filming in a house of worship. Very distracting to actual worshippers in that congregation. But hey, what do I know, right? Nothing like a camera crew walking up and down the aisle to get Gods word to sink in...

@Zify m. well? I hate to be callous, but they knew this when they got on that plane. It's just plain rude to go to a party, enjoying the hell out of yourself, then going over to the neighbors house when the party ends. Especially when your REAL family is at home worried because you dont care about them. Dude. Partys over. Go home, you're drunk...

@Zify m. I sometimes forget I'm an NPC. Orange man bad. Russia bad. Overstaying visa good.
