just Wright okay. How many human or even primate fossils are on display in museums?
1
@PFbigfan447 yeah. I work with concrete. I know how brittle a bone-shaped piece would be without reinforcement. It's almost as if they're made out of the same mineral composition, too. Hmmm...🤔
1
just Wright yeah. Independently wealthy from grants and subsidies. If I were in charge of the science department? I would create a problem, then claim I'm the only one with the solution. If I were REAL clever, I would involve a politician and have a debate. If I was a scoundrel, that is. People are panicking over germs right now. The general public is trusting people that drive Bentley's and Porsche's to level with them. You think they're to be trusted? Or are they gonna milk this? I say a paleontologist can be just as corrupt as Adam Schiff. They're probably buddies...
1
just Wright Um. Theres about 5 billion people on this planet that subscribe to creationism. I'm afraid that you're wrong. You dinosaur people are in the minority here. Evolution is still only a theory. That means even the scientists dont all agree to make it scientific law. It's got just as much actual proof as Judiasm. The Flintstones wasn't a documentary, y'all...
1
just Wright nice deflection, but the college professors(tenured) can basically teach whatever they want to, and still rake in a hundred grand. Easily. Some college professors make a million bucks or more. You might want to look closer...
1
just Wright yes. I won the Junior Science Olympiad when I was 16. I've seen a lab. I've seen a bowling ball, too. Dont mean I'm a 300 player though, does it?
1
just Wright I'm not a big fan of the current Pope. He's not a good man. However, I do recognize the Bible SUPPORTS science(through scripture). Why couldn't "science" work to PROVE an existence of a "God"(creator) other than DISPROVE that reality. If "God" wanted a giant spaceship, it would certainly be POSSIBLE... But the way He's described, it would be a giant waste of time and matter as we know it now.
1
just Wright Not exactly. The late Stephen Hawking even left the door open to creationism. Don't be rude and bigoted. Nobody said anything about proof but you. Both theories lack the necessary physical evidence to make a unanimous judgement either way. I said they should SUPPORT each other in practice and theory. You want to keep people continually divided. Good for you, window licker!
1
just Wright um. Burden of proof lies on the accuser. In all instances. You claim God isn't real? Prove it. I'm still waiting for someone to explain why calcium(the same shit that I can't chisel off my shower door) is so delicate and precious, yet abundant and is literally rocks. Pretty convenient when only the "elites" have ever even seen such specimens. "Trust me, I seen them." isn't proof. You're the kind of idiot that believes in the Loch Ness monster, but God is over the top stupidity?
1
just Wright dude. The bible clearly told the ancients to "watch the stars, seasons and observe even the ants..." It's in the very beginning of the book, but you asshats won't even open the Goddamn thing... That's really sad. The geniuses of the planet won't even open a Bible... Your loss...
1
just Wright exactly. Their science was wrong. That was advanced science back then. Just like they called out herasy back in the day, now you guys are literally doing the same thing. The definition(loosely translated) of science is the observation of the natural world, and drawing conclusions from those observations. The Bible literally tells everyone that reads it to track the stars in the sky and to watch the ants work. That's science, bro.
1
just Wright Seriously? Theres literally a star named after the King Solomons son, David. The early scientists were secular, but at least they paid respect to Emmanuel. They didn't reject him, and they used the stars to navigate. Cant do any of that stuff without science.
1
just Wright look. You guys work on the invisible boogeyman, and we will talk to the old spaghetti monster in the clouds. The only problem is that our invisible spaghetti monster doesn't cost the taxpayers 91 Trillion dollars. Yours does.
1
just Wright I believe a creature like a unicorn COULD exist or have existed, but with no actual bones.... See where I'm going with this?
1
just Wright if you accuse someone of lying, that person cant prove they're innocent. The burden of proof lies on the accuser. I could claim the sky is green. If you challenge me, you must then bring me outside to show me my error. I can't see no bones? They didn't exist. We say "show us the real bones!" Them: "Um. They're all in a big sterile, climate controlled government funded warehouse in the middle of nowhere. Nothing to see. Yeah, they're in those sealed crates never to be opened. Ever."
1
just Wright That's what I'm saying. People got along and shared information in those days. Today we just try to prove each other wrong. I think Roseanne Barr is right. The human race isn't evolving, its imploding in on itself. That's what her "racist" planet of the apes joke was about.
1
just Wright the jewish and Christian bibles both support exploration and the zodiac as being relevant in the natural world around us. They encourage these observations. Science has supported the Nephilim story of the Bible, and if I'm not mistaken, there were also stories of abomination-like beasts that roamed the earth. Maybe even alongside humans. Some of what's in that book is actual history, but its coded. Jonah and the whale. Not to be taken literally. The "belly of the whale" is where the earliest temples were made. The bones on the shoreline were already erected and people would meditate in there. Like a wigwam. Chances are that Jonah was on the opium and high as fuck for 3 days. I'm guessing...
1
just Wright ...and yes, egyptians, saudis, jews and Greeks also took part. Everyone but the east asians. They have their own set of rules...
1
just Wright completely different topic. Traditional medicines were still science practiced throughout the ages. The first page of the Bible. "All plants, herbs and fruit-bearing trees..." According to the Jewish AND Arabic texts, God(Allah) made everything, then just cut man loose without instructions after he disobeyed the only one he gave... "Here. You figure it out." Like a disgusted parent. How does that cost money?
1
just Wright no. Science has never saved a life. Not even once. That's why we have cryogenics. They've possibly EXTENDED a few of them, but all of us take the same dirt nap... Eventually.
1
@krabmeat ...according to you, maybe. I just threw the word "capitalist" in there to see how many comments I could generate. Yes, I'm a socialist dinosaur skeptic. Sue me. After the virus.
1
just Wright Dude. The Greeks(when Jesus was alive) shared technologies and wanted to get away from mythology. The jews and Greeks had a common oppressor. The Romans. Who's Jesus going to trust? He traveled the known world with his uncle as a deckhand and tinsmith. After his gig with carpentry, he got a sweet job with his uncle. Went to Japan, India, China, England and even Denmark. I have a suspicion he was here in America and Austrailia, too. I cant prove it, but if he was in Siberia, he could have went down the California coast. He WAS gone for a long period of time. The trade routes? Jesus was on the "road to Damascus" in one parable. Damn. Trying to get you guys to open up a Bible is challenging. It's a book. Read the damn thing.
1
just Wright okay. Your argument NOW is that we have no Spirit. Just a meat bag with a bad attitude. That's what you're trying to sell me? I ain't buying it. Theres nobody that can tell me that I come from nothing, and I'm returning to nothingness. That's like saying you threw an empty box in the corner of the room and a TV magically appears in the box. Better yet, you and I are nothing more than a clump of cells that randomly collided, and now we have languages and a conscience and the knowledge of both life AND our own demise(aka dirt nap). The odds of a God are better than the Big Bang theory. At least with God, he created the spoonful of matter that exploded. With the big bang theory, at very least, theres nothing before 0:00001 No mass=no explosion Stephen Hawking had the same problem, and his conclusion was that it HAD to be created. He got alot of shit until he retracted his findings.
1
just Wright and no. A scientist never saved anyones life. Ever. Made it LONGER and more miserable, perhaps... Nobody can science their way out of a pine box when it all boils down. Get some fire insurance. 😂
1
just Wright Nah... Ive had an out-of-body. You can't sell me what i ain't buying. All good, though. Doesn't mean we arent good meatbags, right?
1
just Wright By your own logic, we come from and return to nothing. Explain emotions, then? Anger, fear and happiness all come from somewhere, too. Shouldn't knock folks struggling with their psyche, just like we shouldn't poke fun at people that believe in magical things. That's just rude.
1
@staplewarrior4903 Real bones aren't fossils. They're bones. I'm not understanding why this concept is so difficult for people that are huge believers in the science of it all. Even this skeptic knows the difference between a real bone and a fossil. You're trying to tell me there's a museum with BONES in it? That only proves my case. They can't be 65 million years old. I'm skeptical of both stories. One of a flood, and one of fire and literal brimstone. I'm not decided as of either happened, but those Bible thumpers had the story first. Science is a "Johnny-come-lately" on the world scene.
1
@staplewarrior4903 it's your argument. I lived in Chicago. I was raised there. We went to the Field Museum to learn the latest theories every April for field trips. I've seen the authentic replicas of actual fossils of real bone displays. That doesn't make radiocarbon dating a perfect science. A giant flood could produce the same numbers as a giant asteroid where widespread death is concerned. If a catastrophe of that size actually happened. Again. All of it is hearsay since none of us were there.
1
@staplewarrior4903 You're okay. I didn't think you're being rude. Sometimes text is funny like that. I want the best things for ya, in a not creepy way. Lol
1
@staplewarrior4903 Hahaha🤭 Now THAT came across as rude. You're a hoot!
1
Victim olympics is real.
1
He's a whiny, triggered little bitch. That's why Joe is laughing in his face.
1
That would be Camp Pendleton, I'm thinking.
1
@sriousprobs477 I'm playing Devil's advocate for the most part. I just don't like bone bigots. I'm good, but someone that is preaching closed-mindedness is an asshat in my opinion. He's not saying anything besides what they taught us in 3rd grade. He's one of those "experts" that told us all Donald Trump had a 5% chance of being President. Need i say more?
1
@RedrumZombies it's a meme. I know you lefties have trouble with them, so I brought the clip. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/Cs86RL-Eaps
1
@chad522 no. Joe was laughing because he just triggered a leftist. He was high, and it was funny.
1
@chad522 That's what I said. Rogan has been getting his rocks off for DECADES pitting highly aggressive males against each other. It makes him happy. Look at him! He's like a little kid on Christmas morning! The fact that he has a liberal guest is only relevant to the person opposing his theory. It's not even his theory, either. Its Darwin's. Funny how it took an extra 30 or 40 years before they "discovered" a bone. I think it was plaster of Paris cast in sand, but... I'm outvoted. Scientific law is a unanimous decision where nobody can contest it. Science isn't fluid. Somehow this paleontologist missed that day in science class. Without even asking, you've already gone ahead and assumed my beliefs versus my knowledge.
1
@chad522 political parties are more fluid than gender. There are conservative democrats and liberal Republicans. Then theres the libertarians. They dont know if they're left or right. Both "radicals"in name, but more like a bunch of passive-aggressives that tolerate each other because it's literally what that party stands for. Intriguing. My point is, is that I dont exactly know this man's political affiliation. But he's dead set that evolution is FACT. According to the entire scientific community, evolution is a compelling THEORY, but incomplete. Any calculations up until the "missing link" are null and void. Theres a major gap between actual bones and fossils. Almost too large not to notice. That's problematic. That's what the original poster was saying when he was jumping up and down. If Joe had mentioned ancient aliens, he would have lost his shit!
1
@rehanmemon3969 having an open mind is what gets people into believing in God, dinosaurs or even the Santa Clause. Unfortunately, that's when people close their minds and become either skeptics or bigots. There's alot of bigots in here.
1
@therealayatollah2678 They're all still only as valuable as theory. For now. I'm kind of a social atheist. I'm not going to invest my SELF into any one theory, hence my first stance. I can only speak for my own experiences, but the story has a counterargument built right into it. Pun totally intended. I never found a dinosaur bone, so it ranks up there with Santa Clause.
1
@therealayatollah2678 The exact percentage(I must admit) was a number I heard when i was younger. THAT could be an inaccurate number. There is more storage in there that we don't (or can't) use. Well? If dinosaurs lived and are DEvolving into geckos and chickens used to be pterodactyls? We're fucked.
1
@therealayatollah2678 They came here for fish tank cleaner. Lol.
1
@Derek2k never seen that flick. You did, though.
1
@RedrumZombies yeah, that's one theory.
1
@FunnyxSniperxMan of course he is upset. Imagine investing your money, taking out a loan, paying it off, then someone comes along and says you wasted all that time and energy on a weak-ass story about fictitious creatures that supposedly conveniently died all at the same time. Then fast forward to modern time and try to sell this hoax to others. He was taken out of his echo chamber and heard another theory that pissed him off. Yeah. I'd be a little upset too if someone told me God doesn't exist. Shoe's on the other foot, and he don't like the fit.
1
@susanneduffy8157 Sorry. I have no proof. If i seen a dinosaur with my own eyes and had a time machine to know exactly what year i was in, i say God created them, and the others could be faked. I live in Kenosha. They dismantled our velociraptor, and it was made out of steel and plaster. Fake. Thats all i have for proof they existed. Fake pottery sculptures. That, and TV shows. You ppl are watching the Flintstones as if it's a documentary. Wooly Mammoths? Got flesh. Seen it. Contents of it's stomach and blood still entact. Bones of creatures twenty times their size and numbers for millions of theoretical years? Very rare find. The math don't add up. That's why im skeptical. Science keeps changing its mind, and very unreliable.
1
@staplewarrior4903 Okay. What is that saying? That's saying at a non-specific period in history(assumedly millions of years ago based on a democratically elected theory) a global catastrophe happened. The distance in years between theories is what's being debated. Both sides have compelling arguments based on facts.
1
@jakejutras5420 I'm just rabble-rousing. I know both sides of the argument here, so I can be flexible and skeptical at the same time. Some folks pour everything into one side or the other with completely unreasonable arguments, when in reality it's only mental gymnastics. Like bigfoot or dropbears. Some believe in them, some don't. I'm only here because I like making popcorn.
1
@sidthekid1170 🤷
1
@jkz8565 I do believe that gigantism or dwarfism(in our case) can happen in the blink of a historical eye. To think we are the most intelligent beings in the universe(i.e. we have all the answers) is pretty arrogant. Since the "scientists" hide all the actual bones, there's no proof in any museum I can see for myself. Just replicas. It's the equivalent to a statue of Jesus in my opinion.
