Neither US or The Empire used free prices during ww2. So this lesson in economics theory is.... interesting.

I will in a polite way disagre with most people here. The Germans knew how to fight citys. The normal way was to incircle a city, cut ooff water and electricity and then try to divide the city in smaller and smaller parts through concentric attacks. Len Dieghton wrote a few Words about this in his Book Blitzkrioeg, a book thats more then 15 years old but still relevant. An American report thats on Youtube describe a few of this tactics. This film comes up in different versions one thats out now is called. Wehrmacht Infantry Tactics of WW2 (HOME WORK) l

I thnk you have made a correct conclusion. It's a large subject so you can only give the broad strokes, but its as good as you can do without writing a thick book about it.

Things that punched me in the gut. There was an spontaniusb attack on the jews in the months after wehrmacht took western Soviet and before the einsatzkommando came in to restore order. The cruelty and the size of that attack chocked me. They talked about Uktraine to Lituania but i have Estonian friends tjat talked about the same. Its in abook of Hitlers foreign soldiers. How Hitler deliberatöy starved 85 percent of the population in Kiev and Charkow to death. The bloodthirst in the war beetween Polans and Ukraineians. The dissapernce and deliberate starvation of 4 to 8 milöipn Germans after the war. By the Western Allies. Not clear thst it is all of them. But as long that it is classified they cant defend themself. And i havent even started with Asia.

This is stupid. British raillines was consolidated in to 4 big corporations and then in to British Rail because it was poorly led private companies that couldnt generate enough money to survive. You have had the problems with ineffective privatised Rail lines for over 100 years and never learned anything
4
You always get what you pay for.

A balanced reaction to Russia is not gonna happend as long as the neocons is in Control.
3
Operation Marjet Garden was a success, the aim was to make ot harder for the Germans to hit England with wmds on V2s

Hello, its me. I think you miss a point here. Logistic where only fully used a few Times during the war because of fear of German counterattacks and because of Stalins refusal to more than one thing åt a time. So when The Soviet army sits outside Berlin for a month its because Stalin focuses on Austria and not of logistic. And the Western Armies only go outside of their comfort zone åt Arnhem.
2
Its not a matter of strong or weak. Its a matter of who you are up against. He was stronger than Chamberlain but weaker than Stalin.
2
A lot of Armies is built to fight outnumbered and win. The Vikings, The Templars, The Swedes during the 30 years war. The Preussians. And the modern Usarmy.
2
And with your logic. Never stop a refugee. Take that with the Brexiteers.
2
A good lesson in the importance of being polite.

Brilliant.
1
If you read how The bomber offensiv changed its priorities åt the same time, things will be clearer. Its about The range and thn payioads of V2s.
1
It really doesnt matter if you critisize Irving when you support the Nazis in Ukraine. (You is a general description and does not point out TIK)
1
Have you ever discussed Banderas sick ideology?
1
It changes the perception of Jodl and Keitel from office clerks to political Generals ?

Why was it worse in the 90s?

When it comes to oil. The Russians moved their oil eqipment like rig and pump across the blacksea and restart some of the older fields there. Refineries where distributed across Russia. Later in the war they took oil from siberia via american pipelines. The main way of transportation was railroad. The Soviet had a million troops of railroad troops in the end of the war. You can also remember that the T34 was deisgned for a service Life around 140 hours. So tanks dont use much oil. And railroads where used for almost all transports exept for transports Close to the front.

Becauseveverybody in Sweden lives in the country and has a farm?

You should look at the last part of this video. At 26:40 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N6xLMUifbxQ&index=8&list=PLUb02mzQnQ5qdH4K4uiUq-H9EJt79WC0W And you will see how Germany was superior in everything exept oil.

I dont remember the source but i think that German Panzer divisions had 1 battalipn in army group Norjh and Centre but 3 in army group South in 1942.

How many prices is msrket prices in Britain today. Simple answer, housing prices. So if the state cant construct inflation, all Britons wiĺl be dirt poor
1
Okay, dont mix history and propaganda.
1
You are brilliant here.
1
That a unit flees is not the end of the world. You rally the troop and figjt as soon as possible.
1
Ultranationalistic and hted the Russians? In that case, UK should join the Axis.😳

Jonas Pell This comment was written 5 months ago when rhe censorshuip provided by google was at its most amatureish state. Things has gotten sightly better since that. And if you doubt me, take a long look at the Information domination doctrine of US. If you even can get the facts of that subject today.

In the long history of man, there has been worse mistakes.
1
So hes saying that socialism us Nazism. That must mean that socialists is nazist. What is the conclusion to draw from this?
1
Temporäry sanity is a bad defense when you are murdering millions. PS i talk about Hitler. Cant be clear enough on internet.
1
The Nazuis wanted to wipe out other populations, the socialists thinks that people in every country should unite. No case has ver been so simple.
1
Why the 24th has older tanks. Because it was a lowpriority new unexpiriencrd division. The normal way tje German srmy operated was tjat when tjeir best tanks broke down, it was replaced by an older unit. This was desctibed in Len Deigjtons Blitzlrieg. But this wasnt a case in Stalingrad bevause og the single track railtroad from Donets.
1
This is ridicilus, when will you admit that Poland and Hungrary occupied Eastern Checoslovakia. And why is other European historians like Beavor doing the same thing.
1
The proper historians eiid to shape up.
1
Nono TIKTOK is not a scam. 😊
1
With the total debacle of the Tories in England, dont you think its stupid to spend your time critizising socialists 100 years ago?
1
The thing everybody misses about the supply in Africa was that the submarine war in the Med was as severe as in the Atlantic and that RN submarine losses was as bad as German.
1
With the risk of overtalking the subject, Churchills biggest mistake was that he ended the British Empire. He was responsible for Britain s shipbuilding pre ww1. He started to build twice as many ships as Germany, thereby ruining the British Empire. And he didnt stop when Germany withdraw in 1912. So Britain couldnt answer to Germany s rearmament in the 30s. because they where brooke. Come ww2 and the situation worsening and repeating. 260 percent BNP loans to US. US had demanded gold payment before so they had no gold securities for the Pound. So on and so on. Im sorry if this explanation is unclear but i realize i have to redo it to clarifies it.
1
Better make the mistake here then in Normandie.
1
Quite a snsitive subject, i don't think the public is ready for it.

The German concentration camp is well known, luckily. The sensitive part is what happened to Germany after the war. We have some evidence that 1,4 million POW died in camps. The majority on the allied side.We have numbers that say that 12 million germans entered Germany after the war bin 1945 and 1950, but the population only rose with 3 millions. I want you to take this number with a big grain of salt, some German settled down in East Germany. But there is numbers that don't add up. And i don't think Europe is in shape for to much exitement right now.
1
A couple of notes. 1 After France capitulated, rhey got fuel for 2 more years. 2. The one who proposed an attack on the Soviet Union was von Rundstedt. And his plans werent resdy by that point. 3. The mental play that made Hitler attack Russia is shown in the video Warlords, Hitler vs Stalin. 4. Dont overestaminate Hitler, he was better than his reparation in a totally nonmoral context, but no, he didnt play 4dimensional chess. Let it stand.
1
The really interesting part is when they come to kaukasus, there is no preparation to rebuild or repair oilfields. And no preparation to transport oil away from Caucasus.
1
Len Deighton described the German tactic like this. Encircle the enemy and then use defensive firepower to defeat him. This is what Davis Stahl said about Barbarossa later.
1
The sweep up on the Volga. Its interesting that noone talks about the sweep on Volga. I mean, Stalin was counting on it when he ordered 3 cities to be fortified, Rostov on don, Stalingrad and Saratov. Halder sends one of his best planer, von Paulus South and the other Manstein North.
1
Why should Putin listen to a crazy right wing author. The Polish state archive was taken by The Nazis and the Nazi archive where taken by Stalin. Putin has, offcourse first hand evidence of what he is saying, unlike you.
1
Immer Halder.
1
If you talk about North Africa, you should mention the really Vicious and far from onesided sea war about supplies in the medeterrainian.
