British Intelligence has a long list of success in "turning" agents and using them to win at war (from Spanish Armada to present day) Double agents...so useful in all our wars..... going back centuries. Such an obvious intelligence gathering device as a high altitude balloon is exactly the kind of device that they can use, tap into and control. The German intelligence services have discovered many of Putins agents in their secret services. (bet thatthey were already known to London) ....Shame that this all came out before being able to use them as double agenst but perhaps they already were ?
