  5. Echoes of History In World War 1 on 21 March 1918. Following American entry into the war in April 1917, the Germans decided that their only remaining chance of victory was to defeat the Allies before the United States could ship soldiers across the Atlantic and fully deploy its resources. The German Army had gained a temporary advantage in numbers as nearly 50 divisions had been freed by the Russian defeat and withdrawal from the war with the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. People voted for Brexit to control our Borders and that demographic has been boosted by this short sighted imprisoning of British people. Just like 1969 - 1991 in Northern Ireland , imprisoning will not work but instead radicalises and allow contacts to be made in jail. People never learn from History they just reapeat it over and over again.

  27. What ever the strategy Zalenskyy, the bombing and shelling of hospitals and citizens as Putin did in Alleppo. Will no doubt escalate. Putins and Assads forces won that war in this way by targetting hospitals especially .. but surely , the Ukrainians, their fellow Slavs cannot be treated this way ? If Putin believes like Stalin that "no person no problem" .... he has got himself a very long list of persons to "liquidate" . Putin loses. Is my bet.

  33. I am a migrant from ireland ...working abroad. I have to carry a Passport , NI Number and Address for Tax purposes. Without those 3 I cannot work here . From experience i know that If you turn up in other countries without these 3 things correctly done then the authorities put you aside and send you back or to jail. Thats the rules buddy. Anyone who wants to try and break the rules... good luck to them but I wouldn't.

  43. Any Politician that votes to raise taxes and reduce freedoms gets destroyed at the polls. The gamble that reducing taxes will stimulate growth is just that ... a gamble. But the alternative suggested by Labour / SNP is to increase taxes and increase regulation. This has been tried before and ends up in electoral defeat. Or Labour / SNP would be presently in power. The big majority Conservatives have won is also because their electoral opposition appears to support OPEN DOOR IMMIGRATION ... Sweden and now Italy shows what happens.
