  2. I imagine these affairs like a battle between entire cities on rollerskates. The line combatants being High Rise buildings, each manned by more than an entire Artillery Battalion that dies, almost to a man, with it's skyscraper

  3. It always struck me as odd that Sailors (and Marines to a lesser extent) go through basic training on land. Mothballed fleets should be repurposed berthing areas as barracks, galleys as chow halls, decks as mustering grounds and spaces as classroom training sites for recruit training. Recruits could easily handle the majority of drudge level ship upkeep instead of having them spend their evenings buffing the floors of buildings on land like every other branch. It would also make recomissioning so much more efficient and cost effective.

I would've upgraded her with a pair of Graf Zeppelin carriers (ha!), an 8 boat section wolf pack, a couple milch cows to keep the Mana bar full that could bugger off under the waves after the roll for initiative, and a mixed squadron of Graf Spees and Zerstorers to DPS trash mobs while the Biz tanks the boss. In short, it needed a flotilla, not wandering around grinding solo quests.
