  1.  @overthetoppranks  Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but from my perspective, we're 27% Pinko Commie Socialist, and 73% Dirty Capitalist Pig. Because that's what my earnings look like. We're not 100% USDA certified Capitalist Anarchists. It's not black and white. It's shades which should change as times require. And you know what? I'm mostly OK with being 27% democratic socialist. Problem is the top 1% of Capitalist Pigs have us paying for the highways that move their goods and military that protect their oil wells, and they don't pay their proportional share for the system that made it possible for them to be that Top 1%. He who is enjoying the Filet Mignon and Cabernet should pay the most, not split the bill with the guys who had to make due with a salad and a glass of water.

  3. I'd like to thank legit legislators like Bernie for changing the VA of my father's generation into the far more useful animal it is today. I could see monumental differences between the VA I knew when I first got home in 2005 and the one waiting for me the second time in 2011. Not perfect, and still the populist punching bag for people who don't know what they are talking about trying to score political points, but so much better.

  5. 40 years later,, and we're STILL failing to wash Reagan's re-education camp brainwashing out of people's heads. The very people who need to unionize most are the same people who have been convinced by their parents and their parent's talk radio shills that it would somehow be bad for them. That a $25 union due per month is somehow not worth earning $500 more a month to earn safe, livable wages so they can afford to eat.
