  1. You're an idiot. You have any idea how many people from Guam, Samoa, and Puerto Rico join the US military?? They're my brothers and sisters in uniform more than any other state or territory, and they are our family. The contemporary sense of US self loathing isn't going to break us up to make you feel edgy. As a pacific islander, I love being part of one nation with them.

  2. I concur. The territories SHOULD be voting on the floor with representatives and senators. Puerto Rico is iffy on being a state, but these should be states, not territories, complete with all the stakes that come with it.
