  1. My biggest complaint with my '21 Model Y is the abysmal blind spots coupled with a lack of plain-old yellow warning lights on the anemic, narrow FOV and insufficient mirrors. As long as they go with LFP batteries and can beat the sketchy blind spots of my otherwise very satisfying Tesla family battle wagon, then I will be looking at a trade in to swap for an R2.

So, for his first car, and having owned no less than 6 VeeDubs since I was a teenager myself, I bought a used '19 eGolf for my 17 year old son as his first car, with a branded title @21k miles for $8k. Family owns a body shop, verified it was straight, and out of parental paranoia of a first time driver kid, I **LIKED** that it has less than half the range of my Tesla. He's at 100k now in college. Its the first VeeWee I've never had to fix constantly.
