  12. Anyone who has issue with the fuel/operations/maint costs as a 'drain on the taxpayer' should know that the pilots & planes have to fly regularly, and are, anyways. Literally just retasking to fly over another location rather than over some blank impact training area they normally do routine laps around. Doesn't cost any more to fly over the superbowl than it costs to keep them certified any other day.

  16. If I came off as nasty, it was not my intention Jasmin. Apologies if it felt that way. I'm Polynesian Hawaiian (not Phillipino..) and my forebears got it good from encountering old white america. I hold no grudges because those days are dead. My son is half white, and gets the "whitey" treatment in our heavily black neighborhood. That does make me think the pendulum swung from one side of racism, right past the "equality" in the middle, and just put the racism on the other side. It hurts to see.

The whole world will know you fell off, and will push you right back off for trying to climb back on. We don't live in a world where you can hitch hike across the state, hunt for work at an Employment office, start work the next day, or find an affordable roof over your head while you get your shit together. Once you're Homeless now, the world will go to great lengths to keep you that way. Try telling anyone who's hiring that you: A. Don't have an Address (and no, a PO box won't do) B. Don't have a License C. Don't have an eMail account or digital device D. Don't have good credit E. Don't have a job ALREADY or haven't in a few months F. Don't have a spotless criminal background G. Don't have a car/wheels H. Have any sort of health problems I. Don't have a phone number J. Don't have other people to vouch for you K. Don't have the right "look" of perfect clothes/hair/grooming/face And you can just feel yourself being pushed right off the grid.
