I think he's secretly Destro, supplying Cobra with all their dakka dakka The hair is just a clever cover

God, I wish we could get more Tokarev platforms, and a modernized domestic production source for a variety of Tok flavored rounds. Not a glock guy, but would adore a nice, long barrel, ported 17L in 7.62x25 as a sibliing to my FiveSeven. Love them zippy bottleneck rounds.

@dndboy13 Natasha Approved.

Just to be that guy, regarding the agreed-upon Canon of 40k Cannons (disregarding retcon conflicts): Imperium-wide Heavy Bolter (all eras): .998 caliber (25mm) Astartes Godwyn Pattern Bolter/Bolt Rifle: .75 caliber (19mm) and short Pistol cartridge Heresy Era Phobos Pattern Bolters: .70 caliber (17.8mm) and short Pistol cartridge Munitorum & Underhive Bolters Bolt Pistols for the Normies: Typically around .50 caliber (12.7mm)

When you need exactly 0.0185 seconds of suppression in a 40 round package, SIG has you covered.

So you're not refered to as a Luxemburger?? I apologize for my many decades of cultural effrontery. Now to make up for it I shall sing you the song of your people in solidarity. Turnup Tun's eponymous FCK LXB, naturally.

That's an awfully tight channel for an ejection tube, though. There's only one way to be sure it's not TOO tight: WHEELBARROW FULL OF MUD TEST

AWP and Deagle is OP

@matutinojoaquinable Yes, but it sounds fancier. Eau du toilette. Toilet water. For your face. The French can make anything sound fancy, the Germans can make anything sound evil, the Italians can make anything sound like an emergency, and the British can make anything sound adorable.

Legends say Ian won't be finished with Forgotten Weapons until he reviews Sticks and Stones Mk 1, also up for auction

Assault musket.

This fires about 300 Munitorum Issue Mk III (Leman Russ Pattern) Boulders per minute if you propitiate the machine spirits appropriately.
4
@lifesunset ORLY? Like at the Battle of Khasham two years ago? How'd that end again?
4
Better than being the people having a sudden emotional event on the business end of it
4
At least when Ian humblebrags, there's some actual humble to it

As a counterpoint for Americans, not a single grenadier in any of my platoons has preferred the m320 to the old m302 on their service rifles. Weight, bulk, the amount of shit it gets caught up on when mounting and dismounting, worse simplicity, and most importantly the trigger pull of the H&K M320 sucks balls. Being accurate with your 40 mike mike is an art, and that longer stiffer pull spoils shots.

@anteshell You know, you have a really negative outlook. And would make a poor engineer. How do you think 60 ton tanks support themselves on their road wheels? And who said anything about 300 kg??? We're not talking Mechs here, besides 600 lbs (including the 200 pound 11b meatball) would not be feasible anyways with a pair of size 11 boots exerting that kind of ground pressure in the wild. Movement is a question of load distribution and support/force redirection. But hey, sit there and be a negative nancy who never does anything.
3
That's a good way to get fined 300 eye crud
3
If I load Dum Dum rounds into mah Smart Gun, will it become a Meritocracy?
3
But I would take 7.62 Tok over 9mm Para every day for military use, and twice on sundays

I was actually going to commission a real, no BS tradional-made Shinken (Katana) for $6500 back in '03, but dress the tang as a US cavalry saber and make it a family/service heirloom to be passed down. My choice was that or a motorcycle. I cheesed out and got the motorcycle. I kinda wish I had just commissioned the sword, it would have broken down a lot less than the Sportster and saved me more in the long term. And if you're going to kill yourself with it, at least you'll go with more style.

Trashcannon for Space Marines

When your weapon gets smokey, switch to a nice Islay. Don't have the budget for Octomore, so some Ardbeg or Laphroeg will have to do.
3
I love my Adams Arms AR short stroke pew pew :) I was iffy about the weight in front at first, but it turned out to feel nicely balanced when firing and is SOOO much easier to clean. My concerns over copper fouling turned out to be mythical and went away after sending enough break in rounds downrange.

Michigan National Guard circa 1862: SPRINGFIELD '61 FEELZ LIKE GIRLY GUN, NEEDZ MOAR RECOIL J.P. Lindsay: I got you, fam

@Clean97GTI This is also why if you pocket some Wal-Mart .223 to sneak onto the qualifying range, you're not going to get UCMJ'd because you were trying to cheat on your score: It's because there have been incidents of negligent discharges on ranges when the tower says to go ahead and chamber that have been attributed to non authorized ammo. And Lo did the Lord sayeth unto you, Behold! Another Safety Briefing is born.
3
Still less depressing than a Polish gun named "Cancer" If my named ended in "ski", I feel like it wouldn't be out of character to name my guns taxes, premature balding, and erectile dysfunction
3
Makes the PPS-43 look like a Rube Goldberg masterpiece.

"I guess you could say that this cab was rare, but naw, forget it. YO HOMES, TO STALINGRAD!"

I fully expected to see steam come out of the rod cylinder when he pulled the charging handle I mean, let's be honest: A boiler powered Steam Gatling fed by a recoil-jostled Agitator Hopper would be pretty dope Picture the assistant gunners running around everywhere shoveling coal and buckets of loose ammo into that beast
3
Front towards enemy. This page left intentionally blank. Lean against rock...or something. They really should remove the markings on SAPI plates that say "strike face". Too many TBI injuries have resulted from following the instructions.
3
"Significantly short" Not words you wanna hear on a Pro Pipe range
3
"I could give you my word as a Spaniard?" "No good. Known too many Spaniards."

Nein. Diese sounds completely freunlich to mein ears, ja.

It's the Jeff Goldblum rule: You just need good lighting

"M107? Never heard of her"

Let's be honest...you play alot of BF1.
2
Wouldn't have looked as good in a Death Wish movie
2
A masterpiece of functional re-engineering and quality control
2
I've seen sketchier cheek weld positions. I'm kidding. That's bloody terrifying.
2
85mm of cringy brochure pitch and 1 shot worth waiting for
2
When your TC makes you carry your guage on your dogtag chain, and PCI's you every day to make sure you got it on you, then you know your boss had a bad headspace experience that nearly took his hand off
2
Downvoted for giving me TBI. And it was muted.

Pistol-Grip pump on my lap at all times... Pistol-Grip pump on my lap at all times... Pistol-Grip pump on my lap at all times... They can be f*ckin' wit other ni**as sh*t, but they can't be f*ckin' wit mine!
2
I also love it when a plan comes together
2
The only thing stopping the 7.62 Tok from a revival as the great battlefield handgun cartridge bridging the gap between 5.7x28 and .357 SIG is: the lack of a good handgun to drive demand for it. Generous barrel length to convert all that boom to velocity, double stack, etc etc
2
Incoming fire overseas was more like a post-wide clock buzzer for when the DFAC was open. They knew our meal hours better than we did. Hear a couple booms or the C-RAM, start putting in IOTV, grab weapon, head to chow. Rinse, repeat. They probably just made everyone at Bragg on REFRAD feel hungry.

Magpul hands the ACR to Remington/Bushmaster on a silver platter, dutifully proceeds to completely whiff it. All of Eastern Europe: Fine, we'll get it right FOR you.
