Their massive flotillas of cargo vessels was always going to be the key tool of the Chinese to do what no one believes they can: deploy a huge army overseas in ways nobody believes they could or would. And not just Taiwan. Anywhere. It's not as far a trip from the Yellow Sea to the Bering Sea and Alaska as one might think. Especially when you're hiding among the swarms of cargo vessels going to and fro.
