Nomiki was in the room so to speak so I respect her view. But she is wrong to say the Democratic party doesn't want to win. If they didn't want to win they wouldn't have been so pissed that Hillary isn't president today. More correct is to say that centrist would rather lose to a Republican than win with a progressive. The people in power in the DNC realize that they have more in common with the party of Trump than they have with Bernie Sanders and AOC. The correct answer is that it is time for a new major party one that the independents and non voters will join. We live in a country where both major parties combined get less than half of all Americans to join them. There are literally more Americans who don't align with any party than align with both. That is a cry for a new party. If we all join the Green party it will become the largest party.
