@clairpahlavi so you are saying a century later the land will heal itself. Ok but I still don't see much wildlife surviving during the strip mining process those big explosions seem deadly to the local wildlife.

@clairpahlavi I haven't ever seen a deer on a mountain that is being blasted which is sort of the point pristine wilderness is distorted stip mining It wasn't sold rock until after they knocked over the trees and scrapped off all the top soil. I have seen the before and after of strip mining it doesn't improve the wildlife or wilderness
