@Pearlruby718 it was a centrist named Hillary Clinton who lost to Trump if you are worried about who will lose to trump don't put him up against the same type of centrist corporatist he has proven he can beat.

@Pearlruby718 funny how you point out every rationalization for how something else caused Hillary to lose to trump on the general election not accepting any reality that she simply was the worse candidate but then you go on to say that she won the primary but exnore that the DNC rigged that process in favor of her. But if you want facts. Bernie Sanders beats trump 55% to 45% in recent polls.

@joshuamccall8043 I suspect in 2020 we will see that the current youth make the boomer generation irrelevant. Boomers are out numbered already we just need candidates like Bernie Sanders who are able to convince younger Americans to vote. If there is anything that should turn out the under 45 vote it is eliminating college debt. Also addressing the climate crisis with the urgency it demands.

@Pearlruby718 people voted for Obama twice because he offered change you could believe in. Trump won as the antiestablishment candidate. So you have seen the last 3 elections in a row go to the radical candidate over the establishment candidate. The only difference in 2020 is we now have a chance for a true progressive not centrist corporatist claiming to be a progressive or a fake far right populists.

@Pearlruby718 you seem to lack a understanding of how our government functions if you don't understand the difference between the electoral college and the popular vote you are doomed to repeat the same mistakes in 2020 with a centrist corporatist who can't win the electoral college because they don't inspire voters in the rust belt.
