The people attacking Bernie Sanders are not worried about beating Trump. They are trying to insure the working class is defeated and falls back in line. They are scared to death that the wealthy elite might have to give up some of their wealth and power to fund the social safety net which protects the poor and working class.

Talk to them about how Biden has a history of fighting to cut Medicare and Social security. That seems to be the argument that has convinced most older people that Biden is not their candidate. The reality is what you are seeing isn't race based I see the same thing with older white voters. They have simply spent the last 40 years listening to the Clition era centrist corporatist propaganda media. But when faces with the reality that Biden has actively fought against the social safety net some of them come around to Bernie.

C J the status quo government today is in favor of the wealthy elite. The status quo is to expand funding for the military industrial complex. Cut taxes on the wealthy and corporations. Also to protect the for profit healthcare system. It is an illusion that protecting the status quo politicians will protect the American dream of working 40 hours a week. Owning a home with 2 kids and a dog. Politicians gave up on that dream in the 80s when they realized that accepting bribes from the barrons of industry and allowing them to export our jobs was more profitable for the politicans and the barrons of industry. If you are a working class American who wants to protect your current quality of life you need to vote for Bernie Sanders. His policies will protect the working class.
