Biden should come out and say if the ACA is repealed by the courts he will have no choice but to lower the eligibility requirement for Medicare to birth.

@bsadewitz actually IIRC over 70% of all Americans favor Medicare for All and over 90% of all democratic voters. So the citizens by a large majority do understand how they would be better off. It is the donors whom Biden told nothing will fundamentally change that don't want the change to happen.

The right wing extremists in this country only call themselves Christians they never actually understood the message taught by a homeless middle eastern man was teaching as he traveled around providing his services for free. Anyone who proudly claims to be a caplistist isn't a Christian. The right wing in the USA seems to have forgotten to read the new testament.

@lindaleelaw5277 you made a stupid strawman argument about what Medicare for All is. We all know other countries have single payer systems and they also have better healthcare.

@Jen-cc9xk the politicans are only thinking about the cost to their donors not the cost to society. If politicans cared about the cost of healthcare they would pass Medicare for All it is proven in every study to cost less. Also every other developed country has a single payer healthcare system which costs less and has better outcomes.

it has everything to do with it because the supreme court is the body that insures our society follows the constitution. If the courts don't follow that document it is nothing more than a historical footnote.

@bsadewitz no one buys Medicare. So if you choose to buy private insurance so be it. You need to learn how Medicare works today before you try to understand how lowering the age would work. Today you apply for Medicare when you reach 65 and the government pays for the care covered by Medicare you are free to buy any additional insurance or not to apply for Medicare. But most Americans understand they would be foolish to not apply for Medicare when they turn 65. However it isn't required that you do apply when you turn 65.

@bsadewitz wow you voter shame when the entire media and political establishment use the red state of south Carolina as the pivotal point in selecting the Democratic party nominee. The reality is more than half of all Americans didn't get to vote in the primary because the democratic party made sure the nominee was effectively chosen before they voted. Think about that the Democratic party put more focus on South Carolina then New York when choosing their nominee. Don't blame the voters when the system is rigged against them. When you let a state which you will lose in the general election choose your nominee it is probably not a great strategy

@bsadewitz if choice in doctors is your goal a single payer healthcare system is the solution it ends the insurance company telling you what doctors and what tests you can get because all doctors will be paid by the same single payer.
