This pretty much sums up the problem with our November election. We have told the public you can choose neoliberalism or fascism. One will shoot you in the leg the other will shoot you in the heart. The public said but we want social democracy where they don't shoot us instead they provide us with healthcare and a social safety net. But the media defenders of the status quo made sure social democracy wasn't on the ballot come November. So I am voting green party. Because I don't want to be shoot in the heart or the legs.

@rrobjchilds you fail to understand how we moved from having candidates like FDR and JFK as choices in the general election to having only a fascist and a neoliberal. That is the point. Voting for the lesser of two evils only rewards the system which gave you those two evil choices and signals your consent to those choices. The only alternative at the moment is to take that power away from the system by voting 3rd party. Because only then will the two parties realize they have to return to being for what the voters want. So I won't accept your premise that I have to choose between two systems which are against my personal best Interests i will vote green party. Because they have a platform which is in my best Interest and if the half of all Americans who are so pissed at the lessor of two evils choice that they stayed home get the message and only half of them vote green we will have the numbers for a very tight 3 way race. If more than half of all citizens who choose not to vote choose to vote green party we will win in a landslide. So sorry but with the current level of people who don't support either the DNC neoliberalism or GOP fascist there is a 3rd option you are not considering.

@rrobjchilds one of the two evils will only win so long as people like you vote for them and half of all voters choose to stay home. It looks to me like a very large percentage of the population are not choosing to fall in line or stay home at this point in history. So you might want to rethink if one of the two evil choices will win over the 3rd option after all. It isn't a forgone conclusion at this point expecally as the neoliberal is only the presumptive nominee. Hell if all the protesters and non willing to compromise voters vote for Bernie Sanders in the remaining primaries Biden could end up losing the nomination. So sorry but you seem to believe your self fulfilling proficiency and not be willing to admit that is all it is.

@rrobjchilds you are wrong there are enough out standing delegates to nominate either Biden or Sanders at the moment. Biden doesn't have 1991 delegates.

@rrobjchilds you are wrong to assume the Democratic party is entitled to my vote simply because they are not the Republican party. You fail to understand that simple fact. If the Democratic party will not earn my vote by backing the policies I want they have failed us not me. If the best they can do is neoliberalism which gave us trump in the first place direct your anger at them not the green party voters who are fighting for a platform that supports the working class.
