@christineherrmann205 yes not to mention that we now find micro plastics in all water supplies people consume. Can anyone say cancer?

@artsloan2295 fortunately the miners who have lost their livelihood with the Bankruptcy of Blackjewel don't agree with you they believe in non violent protests to get the pay they worked for and where denied. Bernie Sanders has shown support for them but when it comes to Mitch McConnell and Trump crickets. That shows you who cares about taking care of the working man and why only cares about making sure the assets of the barrons of industry are protected when they fail to live up to their commitments to their workers.

Use the money you spend today to paying for enrollment in college to buy your EV. Bernie Sanders will be making college free and forgiving the debt you already have for college loans. That will easily cover a used Nissan leaf with more than 60 miles range for about $5000 on the market today.

@artsloan2295 where is the sacrifice in spending less money to buy an EV then he currently spends just to attend college? Sounds like a win win for him. Not to mention that fueling the EV will also cost 1/5 the price of fueling the gas guesser he drives today. Saving him more money.

@artsloan2295 good thing a Nissan leaf or Tesla model 3 is no where near that expensive expecally used.

@artsloan2295 base price on a Model 3 is $35,000 which is infact way less then the $50,000 you listed as unaffordable so you are wrong. $35,000 < $50,000 go back to 4th grade and take math again.

@artsloan2295 the Ford F150 which is the #1 selling vehicle in North America so is definitely cheap enough for Americans to buy list price runs from $28,155 - $70,560 The Nissan LEAF list price is $29,990. Which puts both the Nissan and Tesla in the lower end of the F150 price range. Which again is the #1 selling vehicle in North America so clearly they are affordable to most all new car buyers. By the way you can buy a used Nissan leaf for under $5000 again well within the price range of the used car buyers.
