That was the point Bernie Sanders made in the fox townhall that every single American over the age of 18 should vote and that our government should make it easy for them to do it.

@francishooper9548 you might have to rethink that. We have one former bartender and one former homeless mother of 2 children who are both in Congress today.

@francishooper9548 actually I was thinking of Corry Bush who isn't in Congress yet but won a primary in a democratic district so she will be in Congress come 2021 We also have a refugee who came to the country at the age of 8 I think. So I would argue that times are changing and with the help of groups like JD we can get more avg Americans in government.

Sure right after we investigate everyone one of Matt Gaetz donors for bribery. The GOP keeps running ads in Maine about how the money donated to fight Susan Collins was bribery. My response each time I hear that is this will backfire on the politicians because most Americans believe that money in politics is bribery.
