We need rank choice voting to end the spoiler argument and end the 2 party monopoly

@quinndawsonosgood5261 🤣🤣 love your random negativity. But that would still be faster than the green party or the people who think you can send someone into the Democratic party and get Medicare for All that way. After all we have the video of Nancy asking the speaker of the house to hold a vote for it when she first got there to take over the party. Now we see she is the speaker that the party converted into blocking the vote. AOC has proven the process is repeating itself as she votes as Nancy instructed with tears in her eyes. So sure RCV requires more than once election cycle but it can't work any worse than the alternative which has failed for the last half century

@quinndawsonosgood5261 follow the example where the ballot initiative worked to get it in Maine.

@interdimensionalsteve8172 Nancy Pelosi was a reformer from within when she went to Washington DC. We are literally seeing history repeat itself today when she reforms AOC forcing her to breakdown in tears as she votes against her values to make Nancy happy. You don't reform the Democratic party they change you. It has to be done outside the currupt party

@quinndawsonosgood5261 I love how you defenders of the status quo are always willing to hide behind the big bad evil Republicans. The establishment has you so well conditioned you refuse to even consider something that would increase voter involvement.
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 it will only be done with rank choice voting outside the two parties. That is why both parties hate the idea.

@interdimensionalsteve8172 the point isn't how Nancy Pelosi became a member of the house it is how the party moved her from supporting progressives with her demand for a vote on Medicare for All to being the one defending the caplistist class by stopping that vote she wanted. She is doing to AOC what was done to her and you can literally see it breaking down AOC in tears as she knows she betrayed her believes and voters by falling in line and voting as she was told by Nancy. It is the death of 1000 cuts and the cuts are on record for you to see. You are the one who isn't understanding how history is repeating itself. Like how the progressive caucus caved to the corporatist agenda and passed the bipartisan bill giving up their leverage and killing BBB in the process. That is what working inside the party does.

@interdimensionalsteve8172 oh if you want to call people idiots you should atleast learn how to spell their names or it makes one wonder who the idiot is.
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 there are non so blind as those who refuse to see. But tell me why are you scared of ranked choice voting? Do you think someone who votes people's party or green party first choice will vote Republican second choice? Because more parties and rank choice voting will get more people to take part in the electoral process. Telling people that they are useful idiots won't increase voter engagement so why are you fighting to suppress the vote one voter at a time?
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 funny one Democratic party member in the Senate has the power to set the agenda and kill BBB but you think the progressive caucus in the house has no power at all. That is an amazing double standard. Or amazing willful blindness.
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 we know how AOC voted if you want to believe she was crying for a different reason while she betrayed the beliefs she campaigned on and her fellow squad members that is your right. But the reality remains Nancy Pelosi talked to her she voted against the campaign platform and her fellow squad members and she was in tears. I guess if it makes you feel better you think those things are not all related that she would have been gleefully voting against her campaign values if it wasn't for something else making her cry you have an even lower oppion of her that I have. It would mean you don't believe she is a person who ever believed her campaign platform. I believe she wants to do good things and it is hurting her that the Democratic establishment is winning her over. She isn't the same person who said I don't care if fighting the good fight makes me a one term member. She has changed.
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 the progressive caucus has 97 members of the house and one member of the Senate according to Google. So tell me if that isn't enough to make change from the inside how many members of the house do you think it takes to have leverage over Nancy Pelosi to force a vote for Medicare for All in the house? Because if 97 isn't enough when Nancy Pelosi can't afford to loose more than a handful of her caucus you are the one who doesn't understand leverage.

@interdimensionalsteve8172 something that has already happened in Maine will never happen 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 leftists running inside the party doesn't threaten the Democratic party unless you really believe Bernie Sanders changed Joe Biden and made him into FDR. Or unless you believe Nancy Pelosi is still the progressive who took over the Democratic party and gave us single payer healthcare. You are nothing but a sheep dog for the caplistist class controlled Democratic party
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 wow you are really in the misinformation campaign against RCV. You could atleast do you homework enough to know what races it applies to. Because spoiler alert you are wrong about it being one only race in one state. As to the dumpster fire of the Democratic party that hasn't changed in the last half century it is why we need RCV and a new party. You have allowed yourself to accept the lesser of 2 evils for so long that president Obama called himself a 80s Republican on policy issues and you celibate that as the change you could believe in.
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 your argument that we need to take over the Democratic party from within because there is no way the Democratic or Republican party could be replaced with a 3rd party shows the ignorance you have as you clearly don't know that both parties we have today replaced older establishment parties in our countries history. The only way the establishment has been defeated in our political system is from the outside.
1
@interdimensionalsteve8172 show me one example of your theory working before you call the history of our democracy a bad example
