  4.  @letssuperfuntime  he had over 250,000 per orders in 24 hours for a vehicle which wouldn't be available for 2 years. Not bad for a your irrelevant market. I suspect it will sell about half a million per year same as the Model 3 is currently on track for in the USA. 1 million vehicles per year between 2 models for a car company which was selling tens of thousands just a few years ago isn't irrelevant it is amazing growth. That doesn't include the output of gigafactory 2 in china or 3 which they are breaking ground on in Germany. I am not a huge Tesla fan but the company has made amazing inroads into the automotive industry. Oh as to your wasn't he going to save the world comment. Sorry to burst your bubble but Elon simply said Tesla is trying to force the revolution in the automotive industry to convert from ICE to EV. Elon has said there need to be about 10 factories the size of his in Nevada world wide and that he doesn't want to have to build them all that we need the other automakers to help. Ford is now releasing videos of their prototype electric pickup. BMW is commiting 50 billion dollars to EV development with 25 models comming by 2025. So I would say Elon Musk has been very successful at showing how to make an EV which can be mass produced and sold. He has succeeded at showing that there is a need and the other automakers are taking notice.

  5.  @DawryMike  if you are worried about paying for school you should vote for Bernie Sanders. Once he removes that burden from your shoulders you will have the resources to buy an EV. Oh and when you look at the price of the EV you want to buy in the future realize it saves you about 80% of your fuel bill.
