But the reality is we are still only talking about 10% of what the federal reserve created in new currency in 2020. That is the real story. The federal reserve creating 20 trillion dollars and determining where it goes is the real story of how the wealthy are screwing us over. Why are we debating 2 trillion dollars in Congress but not talking about 20 trillion dollars from the federal reserve flowing into the stock market?

  472. I liked Tulsi before she became the Medicare sellout. Keeping the private sector insurance with Medicare for all at the same time will simply make Medicare the insurance of last resort. Private health insurance companies will simply drop people who are sick on the government. Medicare choice is code words for privatizing the profits and socializing the costs.

Old people who get sick where not able to afford private insurance decades ago it is why we started Medicare in the first place. Private insurance forced them out and onto the government in an effort to maximize profits. If the private sector is allowed to continue to sell coverage for services covered by Medicare they will simply keep the profit and force anyone who is actually sick to be on Medicare. If you don't understand that you don't understand how for profit insurance works.

I mean your argument is that people will want a system where they have to pay for the health insurance out of pocket vs having Medicare for All where the government funds the health insurance from progressive taxation.
