The way to address the ff industry is to announce that if SA is cutting 2.5 million barrels per day we will remove demand for 5 million barrels per day by replacing gas peaker plants with renewable energy and storage. Or that we will replace demand for electricity with national high speed rail powered by renewable energy replacing the airline industry for cargo and travel. Tell the banks that the federal reserve will fund these programs directly unless credit companies agree to not fund the ff industry which is driving inflation to be part of these policies to transition off ff. There are many ways they could fight. But without rank choice voting we are stuck with two parties of the wealthy class and zero parties of the working class.

  13. Doing the same thing over and over again and looking for different results defines 2 party first past the post politics. We need rank choice voting and more parties to end the duopoly.

  14.  @owlcowl  Australia has proven RCV works and Maine has proven we can get it in the USA with voter referendum. That is a path that works in more than half the states. I don't disagree with the other reforms I just don't know what the path to getting them is.

  15. The goal is to deflect attention from anything that helps the working class and costs the wealthy class. If they can force you to think about one thing like abortion you are not seeing the bigger picture of class warfare playing out in our society.
