She apparently couldn't be bothered to make one tweet for the Medicare for All marches that have been scheduled for months. So no it is more like she was running from her signature issue that got her elected. How hard would it have been for her to simply send a message of support for the March for Medicare For All?

@stevenruiz6507 funny because Bernie Sanders said we need 1 million people marching in the streets to get Medicare for All when he was running for president. AOC doing all she could apparently doesn't include helping the March for Medicare for All reach the numbers Bernie Sanders said we need. I mean all she had to do was tweet her support for the march to her millions of followers and the march would have grown to the size Bernie Sanders set as the target. Instead she looked the door to keep the movement for Medicare for All out of her office. It was only the platform issue that got her elected but I guess she was too busy to tweet support for it today.

@DANISEVIL calling on the millions of followers to join the march for Medicare for all would have been a good start. Bernie Sanders said we would get Medicare for All when we have 1 million Americans marching in the streets for it during his campaign. So one tweet from AOC would definitely help with that goal set by Bernie Sanders who has a lifetime of experience fighting for social change. But more importantly she could use her political position to force a vote on Medicare for All. Because the last 3 decades since Nancy Pelosi tried to get the speaker of the house to hold a vote for Medicare for All have proved to us one thing is sure when we don't hold votes on legislation it doesn't become law.

@DANISEVIL Joe Biden literally has the authority in the ACA to declare a national emergency and cover people with Medicare. We know this is part of the ACA because Obama used it to get Medicare for an entire coal mining town. So infact there is another way we could have gotten Medicare for all during a global health crisis called the covid pandemic. But not once did AOC pressure Biden to use his authority to get people Medicare during a pandemic.

Oh and as to being years away tell me how many decades because it has been on the Democratic party platform since FDR was president. So how many generations do you wait before you believe the party isn't trying to pass something?

@DANISEVIL oh and for the record when AOC said one house term she was saying she would get it done in 2 years. Because she only has a 2 year term not 4. The house is 2 years the president is 4 and the Senate is 6. Just so you know for future reference

So true. In the 90s I entered the work force working for a small company less than 60 employees and we had the blue cross insurance where when you went to the hospital it was covered minus a small maybe $20 deductible and a max of $1000 per year IIRC it was the get sick it is covered insurance. That was 96 every single year since I saw the deductibles go up and the coverage go down till it got to the point where now you pay for insurance you can't afford to use.
