That the politicians should live in fear of the public. That is what the right told me when they took their assault weapons into Gov buildings. Now you are scared of 30 unarmed civilians yelling?

The right wing keeps telling us the government should be afraid of the citizens that they have the right to take their assault weapons into government building to show the politicans that they will use them if they need to. But a few unarmed civilians yell at Rand Paul and you feel his life was threatened and be needs a big government police escort to protect him. Which is it should the politicians live in fear of armed citizens or should the big government police force protect them from even interacting with unarmed civilians? Because you can't have it both way.

Between the politicans giving trillions to their donors with the cares act and the federal reserve printing new money to be the buyer of last resort for the stock market. That is the real looting. The events you are taking about are petty theft on comparison. The federal reserve printed 1 trillion dollars a day and made it available to the wealthy elite to keep wallstreet seeing record highs on the stock market while 50 million Americans filed unemployment and there is only 1 job for 5 unemployment Americans. So tell me why are you outraged by some property damage to businesses? Those businesses are the ones who are looting the treasury and insuring that the federal government puts their interests above your own. The didn't even have to bribe you like they did the politicans to put their owners interests above your own and to distract you from the real looting going on

That wasn't the case just 4 short years ago under the Obama administration. The greatest threat to Ramd Paul back then was his neighbor whom he picked a fight with.

  20.  @larryb7273  what you see is people who have been protesting their government for months because they are tired of seeing their fellow citizens murdered in the streets by the police force. Those people are now frustrated because the very government that they have been protesting has refused to address their grievances and has increasingly responded with chemical weapons and increased authoritarian force. What you are seeing the failure of leadership leading to civial unrest. That is a patten we have seen the world over with failed states. Yes the trump administration has turned the USA into a failed state by exnoring the citizens. We have 50 million Americans who have filed unemployment. Which in a society where the healthcare system is linked to employment, and people live paycheck to paycheck unable to pay for a $400 emergency, means they have lost their access to healthcare in the middle of a pandemic. Those are desperate people looking at eviction during the same pandemic where there are 5 unemployed people for every job. What you are seeing is the result of a government which is so currupt that during all this wallstreet has set record highs as the federal reserve has become the buyer of last resort for junk stocks and bonds. What you are seeing the the result of half a century of income inequality which is now worse them it was during the great depression. If you don't approve of people being outraged by that you are privileged to lack any problems that the government could help you with.

Your logic seems to exnore the reality of who was in power when the situation you don't like became the reality. If you think Joe Biden and Harris are pro looting and riots you failed to study their history. Biden is the author of the crime bill. Biden has said not only does he not support defund the police but that he will increase police budgets. But thanks for pointing out why the Democratic party is wrong to try and attract Republicans because when the Republican party pushes your fear buttons you will run to your big authoritarian government for protection which means you will embrace the most right wing extremists candidates over the Republican lite.

I mean the 17 year old who was pictured at the front row of a trump rally crossed state lines with an assault weapon and murdered 2 citizens in that Democratic city and hospitalized a 3rd. Did the mayor of the Democratic city invite the right wing militia to shoot the citizen just to trap trump in that no win situation or did the right wing trump supporter choose to target a Democratic city because trump at his rally fearmonged about the radical Democrats and the mobs in the Democratic cities? I can't tell which side has been driving the partisan hatred. But clearly it is working for the GOP if that no win situation got trump your vote back.

Trump holds a rally where this 17 year old kid hears his president tell him the radical Democrats are losing control of the cities and need to be stopped. Kid takes his gun and goes to the city and kills him 2 radical Democrats who he sees as the enemy of his president. That is domestic terrorism and you full well know it. You full well know no 17 year old thinks man I need to risk my life so some billionaires don't have to worry about Target getting burned down.

  27.  @BridgeportIPA  did your white parent's have to warn you not to talk back to the police or you might be shot? Mine never did. But I can tell you once in my life I drove an old rust bucket of a car and was pulled over by the police who pulled a gun as soon as he stepped out of the cruiser. As soon as he got to the window and saw two white men in their early 20s in the car he put the gun away and told us to simply replace the temporary 20 day plate in the next 19 day and to be careful there where minorities and gangs in the area. So the reality is you don't understand how well you have it because you have not experienced the other side where the police assume you are a criminal for no reason.
