Those bonuses are the scam. What percentage of workers actually make the incentive pay? That is the same idea as selling cars on commission you could make that money but in reality you never will. The entire reason companies use this type of compensation is because they know they can pay out less in a one time bonus to some employees then a higher living wage will cost them to all employees.

You can't really be so stupid. Bush bailed out the banking sector with over $700 billion dollars of taxpayer money and he also gave them immunity. The banks at the time merged into bigger banks. Look up TARP it was 2008 you seriously can't have forgotten something that happened just 10 years ago. As to banking regulations give me a break the government has been deregulating the banking sector for decades. Look into the cause of the saving and loan crisis you will find it was banking deregulation by the Reagan administration. This very year Congress killed the weak regulations which where put into the banking sector after the financial crisis of 2008. And get real on your shop somewhere else argument you don't really believe you alone can influence the decision of a multinational company by choosing to buy from a different multinational company. As to Jeff Bezos suddenly deciding he has enough wealth he can now pay his workers $15 you follow that up with a comment that prices will go up? Why I thought he had enough money all the sudden to pay it? Now you just want it both ways.
