Yang funded everything with a regressive tax. He his plan was a shame. You can not raise $1000 per month per person off a sales tax which is effectively what a value added tax is without just pushing up the cost of goods. Yang was a corporate con man.

@randymarsh7204 you need to study how a VAT works in Europe. It turns into a general tax across all goods. You bought the Yang bate and switch without looking at how the policy works in other countries.
