@lolazal1 true but how often is it that the candidate has actual constitutional duties stopping him from campaigning? I suspect voters are smart enough to understand in this case. Heck given how Ayanna Pressley had to save Elizabeth Warren from hecklers at one of her speeches I would argue it could help her campaign to be stuck in the Senate trial and have Ayanna Pressley campaign for her in her absence.

Not to mention that the senators have to take an oath of impartiality. The GOP which impeached Bill Clinton for breaking his oath are brazenly saying they they will break their oath.

Trump will still go down in history beside Bill Clinton as an impeached president even if like Bill Clinton the Senate doesn't remove him from office trump will be remembered as the 3rd impeached president in our history.

@joepaleface6326 he is definitely exposing curruption. Just that is in the GOP. How many members of his administration or inner circle are already in prison? His former lawyer for one his current lawyer is under criminal investigation. Yup definitely exposing how currupt the GOP is.

@joepaleface6326 you do realize trumps co conspirator in criminal activity is in Jail. The only reason Mueller didn't press charges has Trump in that case is the DOJ mandate from the Nixon head of DOJ who went to jail for his roll in the Nixon cover up. Trump is a criminal and once the southern district of NY gets done with him he will get public housing in jail.
