I can answer Tim's question. No the Republican party has one guiding principle the ends justify the means.

@AnEvolvingApe wow you injected a ton of your own beliefs into what was simply a deflection because she refuses to admit that she won't ever fight for the voters. The reality is Nancy Pelosi only fights to protect the wealthy who bought her. Bloomberg stood on the debate stage and told you he bought the house of representatives. This has noting to do with abortion as far as Nancy Pelosi is concerned. It has everything to do with making sure the corporations get the judges who will crush any movement that would challenge the status quo. Nancy Pelosi is a centrist corporatist which means she is ok with letting the Republicans put in judges who believe your employer has the right to demand you freeze to death to protect their cargo on the side of the road. You saw who Nancy Pelosi was when she told Jake Tapper to claim down that she would get to the working class later. After giving the Republicans and her donors legislation that allowed the billionaires to grow their wealth by 50 trillion dollars while 60 million Americans filed unemployment. We only need to look to other countries in Europe to see that we didn't need to transfer wealth to the billionaires. It is time to stop letting the wealthy divide people on other issues because the real battle was correctly identified by warren Buffett when he said. It is class warfare and my class is winning.

@AnEvolvingApe you missed the point a little. Abortion is a tool used by both sides to divide and concur. The real fight is class warfare. Even bringing up the other topics only helps the wealthy divide us.

@AnEvolvingApe you should watch the video Ryan Grim makes the point that it was never an issue for religion before the Republican party was desperately trying to find a way to hold onto power. It is a tool to keep the lower classes at odds with each other while the federal reserve keeps giving the wealthy new money. That is the point and you are playing into that instead of focusing on issues of class warfare.
