Southern states wanted to get more power because of their slaves it is part of the 3/5 compromise where the states with slaves refused to free them but wanted them counted as it would give them more power in government. Today it is outdated.

@uhhbaseddepartment2914 🤣🤣🤣🤣 have you seen the idiots who go to a trump rally? Seriously everytime i see one of those videos i am shocked there are so many poorly educated people with missing teeth. By the way it is Bernie Sanders who believes our education system should be expanded to include college education. So no the party of stupid people is the GOP who wants to privatize education so only the wealthy elite are able to afford it. Oh but nice gaslighting about the citizenship test but why you want to limit the voting to legal immigrants and exclude native born citizens is beyond me.

@uhhbaseddepartment2914 no shit they are not 1 to 1 everyone knows there are not 350 million electorates in the electoral college or we would all have to go to DC sit in the same really big room to vote. But it is like the house of representatives and based on population not like the Senate. You keep proving how low IQ your side is by the way.

@uhhbaseddepartment2914 oh and you are wrong about why the electoral college was put in place. The Senate is to protect the rights of lower population states that is why each state gets 2 senators regardless of population. Electoral college votes are based on population of each state that is why California and Texas both have way more votes than low population states like Vermont.
