  2. They have to drill more or the pipeline will not have the minimum flow and the federal government will have to pay to remove the Alaskan pipeline and restore the land. Someone in the Obama administration said so on NPR when asked about approving the drilling in the artic.

  6. Bernie has gotten old. He doesn't feel we have time to try something else because life looks shorter the older you get. We need someone to write a platform for a 3rd party which is clearly a party where there is no corporate funding. That the party is clearly for progressive policy not identity politics. Make it crystal clear from day one that your party will not allow identity politics. That the party is for rank choice voting for Medicare for all for a living wage linked to inflation. For a progress tax plan with only 1 deduction which is the cost of living deduction set equal to the living wage for 40 hours work a week. If your only making the minimum income you don't pay taxes above the minimum you progressively pay more taxes based on income and all earning are income. With a real platform and a good 2020 candidate for president a 3rd party can win. Trump won because he wasn't the establishment he was the outsider. Obama ran on change you could believe in again playing the outsider card. A 3rd party is the real non establishment candidate.

Watching this play out reminds me of an old story A divorced couple are fighting with each other and someone asked how did they ever get married in the first place if they never loved each other. The second person replies what do you mean clearly they loved each other where do you think all the anger comes from. Everytime I see how anger Cenk and Anna are I realized how much they respected Jimmy and the others they are now angry with in the past.

What you have is the president making sure his hotels get the trillions in bailout not the citizens being provided for. Even Boris Johnson's right wing government in the UK was smart enough to realize herd immunity would only kill people and thus paid 80% of your income for you to stay the fuck home and not kill yourself or your neighbors during a pandemic. If you don't believe that ask someone on the UK, Denmark or Canada what their medical bill is for this pandemic or if they will be facing eviction for lack of ability to pay their mortgage or rent due to losing their jobs in the pandemic. You will find out their government pays 100% of all medical expenses including the pandemic related expenses plus their governments made sure they continued to get paid and didn't lose their life long savings simply because the government required they stay at home to protect their lives. Here we have a president who wants to force you back to work risking your life simply to pay your rent after giving trillions of dollars to the wealthiest people on the planet. But clearly you know the difference or you wouldn't have cut my comment short taking it out of context.
