  1. What Jimmy Doore doesn't understand about renewable energy and the stranded assets problem is that when ExxonMobil loses trillions in stranded assets it wasn't real money. ExxonMobil got access to crude oil largely on other people's land or public land and simply investing pennies to drill a well to gain access to the oil. But when you buy solar panels and place them on your roof you buy assets which pay you back over time by providing a resource you need. So renewable energy will drive the economy with real upfront investments of the individual taking wealth and power away from the wealthy elite.
