@carlolapadula3953 those countries also have single payer healthcare. Which means they didn't need to wait for the pharmaceutical companies to maximize profits. They simply used the WHO test that the USA refused to use. Medicare for All because a profit motive has no place in how we handle a pandemic.

Don't worry the GOP is trying to pass more tax cuts targeting Medicare funding so the billionaires can offset some of their stock losses. Because who needs to fund healthcare when you are facing a pandemic?

South Korea is doing drive through testing they have been for a while.

@Hawnconservative83 in the USA we allow the insurance companies to decide who lives and dies. When care is based on a profit motive the results will be far worse than when care is based on medical grounds. Look to South Korea their single payer healthcare system has kept the mortality rate low because they started testing and isolation early with drive through testing. Here in the USA we refused to use the WHO test weeks ago because our pharmaceutical companies had to make a version that could maximize profits from.

@igy648 we where definitely better off before the trump administration cut funding from the CDC and fired the experts who specialized in pandemic response planing.

The current death rate in the USA is 3.6% this guy just called for the murder of 11,779,200 Americans and he doesn't get fired? So they literary hire people advocating mass murder of Americans on a scale not seen in the history of our country. For comparison 405,000 Americans died in WWII

@justinm2697 you drive through they take a sample and you self isolate at home until you get your results in a day or two I think is the turn around in South Korea at the moment. It has kept their death rate at 0.6% vs 3.4 WHO has shown as the global avg.

Actually the correct death rate in the USA is 3.6% so you are talking about the death of 11,779,200 Americans. But to your point it does affect more people who are older. You know what other demographic is higher to older people? Republican voters just saying.

So your defense is that he is an idiot who doesn't understand that not everyone will be infected or that our healthcare system would be overwhelmed resulting in more deaths. He is calling for the death of 11,779,200 Americans now simply to get better returns on investment markets.
